I don’t know how much I “believe” in astrology. Part of me says there’s something there or at least a lot of people believe there’s something there. It’s interesting when my daily horoscope from the newspaper matches up to something that happened that day. Many would call it coincidence.
Occasionally I visit AstrologyZone.com to entertain myself on what my near future holds. This month, I caught a few interesting tidbits in my monthly reading. I’ll go ahead and share them, because I have nothing better to do!
A little over two years ago, in mid-July 2005, Saturn moved into your house of career achievement and set up a two-year period of challenging tests of your skills. Higher-ups were hard to please and they really put you through the wringer to see how you’d react, because that’s how taskmaster Saturn typically teaches its life lessons.
Hmm, yes, it was about two years ago that I had a major job change.
Last September 2007, Saturn finally moved on, releasing you from much constant pressure to prove yourself to higher-ups. Subsequently, you may have received an impressive promotion as a result of challenges successfully met.
I changed jobs again to my current position in Oct 2007. Coincidence?
After some rambling about moving (Oh please, no…) or buying new furniture (obviously she doesn’t know the state of my checkbook), Susan says this:
Certainly that February 6 eclipse will be your friend, for it will bring you many options. Neptune will work in a close and friendly way with Uranus (in what is astrologically called a mutual reception). Uranus is currently in your house of creativity and Neptune is in your house of home, so you will soon prove yourself to be a bountiful idea factory, especially when working at home You seem to need a creative outlet badly, and you may hit on the perfect one this year.
I already have a couple of creative outlets – let’s hope this means a flurry of writing and needlework.
This leads me to wonder if you might start a Website or online community, run a radio show out of your home, or write software code for clients there. Writing, speaking, doing research, editing, proofreading, and other communication arts will be other areas of growth for you. You may decide to edit manuscripts at home or do design work for clients on your computer there.
I’m waaayyyy past the website/online community phase. Writing…hmmm. That does sound familar.
No matter what your plans happen to be, your career will soon show definite signs of growing into a more developed phase, something you will see plainly from May 9 through June 30 and then again, with more emphasis when the friendly eclipse arrives in Leo on August 1.The days that follow August 1 will be your best of the year to interview for a prestigious new position, or to begin your new job. (Note: If you don’t start August 1, it may be August 4). Any job you interview for starting in August or begin then would represent an increase in status.
The August 1st date caught my eye…since plans are to be in San Francisco, drinking and networking with my writing friends at the RWA national conference (I hope). So one could interpret that to mean if I do MY job, the stars will help me out a little. Either way, I think I’ll make myself a reminder to see if anything special happens those dates.
Then, of course, there’s always the downer:
There is another, less positive way this lunar eclipse due February 20 may play out, however. That is that you may suffer a betrayal of a friend or have a falling out over a piece of information that surfaces that you were never privy to.
Guess I’d better watch myself!
What about you? Do you ever find rather eerie coincidences between the horoscope you read in the paper and what happened to you that day? Or is astrology more than coincidence to you?
